Activity On Importance Of First Aid Box Organised At Green Land School On The Occasion Of World Red Cross Day

On the occasion of World Red Cross Day, an informative and awareness-based activity on the importance and use of the First Aid Box was organised for the students of Classes VI to VIII at Greenland School on 8th May. The activity aimed at creating awareness among students about basic first aid and emergency care.
During the session, students were introduced to the various items kept in a first aid box and were guided about their proper use during injuries and minor accidents. The activity encouraged students to understand the value of immediate care and helping others in times of need. Students actively participated with great enthusiasm and curiosity.
The programme highlighted the importance of health, safety, compassion and preparedness in daily life. It also motivated students to become responsible and caring individuals who can extend help during emergencies.
On the occasion, Dr. Rajesh Rudra conveyed his message emphasizing that first aid knowledge is an essential life skill for every student. He stated that awareness regarding health and emergency care not only builds confidence among children but also develops humanitarian values and social responsibility. He appreciated the school for organising meaningful activities that contribute towards the holistic development of students.
Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers and said that such awareness programmes play an important role in shaping responsible citizens. She encouraged students to always remain alert, helpful and prepared to assist others whenever required.
