Green Land Senior Secondary Public School today transformed into a vibrant canvas of creativity as it hosted Ludhiana Sahodya Schools Complex Inter-School Painting Competition. The students from 22 CBSE schools across the district enthusiastically participated in this artistic extravaganza.
The competition ignited young imaginations with two categories: Classes IX & X and Classes XI & XII. The students brought their unique perspectives to life through thought-provoking themes such as 'Think Before You Click', 'The Mindset is Everything', 'All We Need Is Vitamin Sea', 'Save Oceans Save Earth', and 'Weather Wonders: From Rainbows To Storms'. The young artists showcased exceptional talent, blending creativity with technical skill to produce remarkable artworks.
A distinguished panel comprising renowned artists Harpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor in Fine Arts at Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana, and Jaspreet Mohan Singh, Artist cum Retired Principal with a rich experience in commercial art, judged the competition based on neatness, creativity, originality, interpretation, and overall impact.
The Chairman of the Chain of Green Land Senior Schools,Dr Rajesh Rudhra expressed immense pride in the students’ artistic prowess. He said that this competition is a platform for our young minds to explore their creative potential and contribute to a more beautiful world. He also congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of all participants.
Congratulating the young artists on their remarkable achievements, the Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher highlighted the soul-stirring power of art. She emphasized its ability to connect us deeply with our inner selves and the world around us. Impressed by the exceptional talent and creativity displayed by the students, she expressed pride in fostering their artistic growth. She further emphasized that such platforms are essential in developing well-rounded individuals who embrace innovative thinking.
