All India Radio Ludhiana Center celebrated Teej festival at Punjab Agricultural University with great enthusiasm under the leadership of Karamveer Karan, Director of All India Radio Ludhiana Center. All the employees of All India Radio Ludhiana participated with great enthusiasm. On this occasion, Karamveer Karan, Director of the Center, said that Teej festival celebrated in the month of Sawan is a famous festival of Punjab. This festival is a symbol of our rich culture. With this, we connect with our culture and great traditions and get inspired. He said that the month of Sawan brings festivals with it. In this month, greenery spreads all around and nature is also in its full beauty. The beauty of nature is worth seeing. The rainy season is at its peak and greenery spreads all around. That is why this festival is called Hariyali Teej.
He said that Teej is also called the festival of swings. This festival has special significance for women and girls.
