BJP candidate from Sri Anandpur Sahib Dr. Subhash Sharma today got a major boost with Prime Minister Narendra Modi making an appeal to vote for his old organization colleague Dr. Subhash Sharma and ensure his victory with a record margin.

Later in the day, while taking out a roadshow in favour of Dr. Sharma, the BJP National President J.P.Nadda said that it is must for the electorate to send young and dynamic leaders like Dr. Sharma to Parliament, so that he can raise your issue and get them resolved.During the roadshow, Nadda also said that Dr. Sharma’s all round development oriented approach will transform Sri Anandpur Sahib into one of the most developed constituencies of Punjab. Strongly attacking opposition parties, Nadda said that the Indi alliance is nothing but an alliance of corrupt leaders. Launching a scathing attack on the dirty politics of corruption, nepotism and appeasement of the Indi alliance, Nadda also mentioned the schemes of the BJP government and called the masses for forming the Modi government once again. “On June 4, India will establish a new milestone worldwide when Modi will become the Prime Minister of the country for the third consecutive time with a resounding majority”, he said.

Meanwhile, earlier Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed a massive election rally in favour of Dr. Subhash Sharma at Sri Anandpur Sahib. Making a strong pitch for Dr. Sharma, he told the electorate that young and dynamic leaders like Dr. Sharma should win by a huge margin. “Come out and vote in large numbers and make sure that Dr. Sharma registers victory by a huge margin”, said Yogi in his speech. Yogi Adityanath further said, “Punjab pe 70 saal se raaj karne walo ki wajah se Punjab aaj behaal hai (Punjab is in distress today because of bad governance by those who have ruled the state for the last 70 years).” Yogi said that he has come here to hand over the keys of his ‘Bulldozer’ to Dr. Subhash. “It is my assurance to Dr. Subhash that in order to wipe out the mining, sand, drug and land mafia from Punjab, I will send as many as Bulldozers Dr. Subhash needs”, he said. Stressing on the strong Hindu-Sikh connect, Yogi said that today festivals of Sikhs and Hindus are celebrated with religious fervor in Uttar Pradesh. “PM Modi made efforts because of which the Kartarpur Corridor got opened. To commemorate the martyrdom of the four sons of the tenth and last Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, Veer Bal Divas is observed on December 26. This is PM’s love for our Sikh brothers and sisters”, he said, while adding that ever since he had formed the government in UP in 2017, there had been no riots against Sikhs. Strongly pitching for Dr. Subhash, UP CM said, “Every vote for Dr. Subhash will strengthen Modi in his resolve to make a Viksit Bharat.”

The entire Pandaal echoed with the slogans of “Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar”, “Abki Baar, 400 Paar”, “Jo Bole So Nihaal”, “Jai Shree Ram” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”. Meanwhile, earlier on his arrival, Yogi, known as ‘bulldozer baba’, received a unique welcome. Several bulldozers were lined up at the election rally venue grabbing the attention of thousands of Yogi supporters .
