Congress Will Fight For Justice In Parminder Singh Jhota Murder Case; We Stand Firmly With The Victim’s Family: Pargat

Mansa: Addressing people gathered in Mansa to demand justice in the murder case of Parminder Singh Jhota, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President S. Pargat Singh said that the Congress stands firmly with the victim’s family and will raise its voice at every level to ensure justice for them.

He said that the drug trade in Punjab poses a serious challenge to the future of the state’s younger generation. Preventing drug trafficking, identifying the networks involved in this trade, and taking strict action against those responsible in accordance with the law are among the government’s primary responsibilities.

Pargat Singh said that the murder case of Parminder Singh Jhota must be investigated impartially and that justice must be ensured for the victim’s family. He emphasised that the investigation should not be restricted to just one aspect of the case; instead, all related facts must be thoroughly examined and appropriate action taken in accordance with the law.

He said that mere claims are not enough to protect Punjab’s youth from drugs; tangible results must be visible on the ground. The government must be held accountable for preventing the supply of drugs and taking action against those involved in this trade.

Pargat Singh said that the Congress would continue to raise its voice to secure justice for the victim’s family and to make Punjab drug-free.
