*Project will streamline movement of traffic and reduce congestion in nearby areas* Ludhiana, February 17: Working to develop quality road infrastructure, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi kick started a major project to construct road on the other side of the Buddha Dariya on Monday. Under this project, concrete road would be constructed alongside Buddha Dariya from Gurdwara Gau Ghat Sahib point till Madhopuri puli. The project is being taken up at a cost of around Rs 40 lakh. Accompanied by councillor (ward number 10) Pardeep Sharma Gabbi, MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi said that this project would be a major relief for the residents as it will streamline the movement of traffic and reduce congestion in the nearby areas. MLA Prashar further said that the state government led by Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann is working for overall development of the state and various projects are being taken up for providing relief to the residents. MLA Prashar further stated that the remaining stretches of road on the other side of Buddha Dariya would also be constructed in the coming time. Raju Vohra, Mohinder Sima Saini, Ajay Nayyar Tanki, Mukesh Verma, Dalip Thapar, Sunny Bedi, Anil Parti, Gurmukh Mithu, Jonny Jaggi, Naman Behal, Happy Behal, Sanjeev Rana, Jonny among others were present during the inauguration ceremony.
