nomination Schedule Announced For Various Municipal Council Elections In District

The schedule for filing nominations for the upcoming Municipal Council elections in various towns of Ludhiana district has been announced by the State Election Commission.

Candidates can file their nomination papers from May 13 to May 16, between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. As per the election schedule, the scrutiny of nomination papers will be conducted on May 18, while May 19 has been fixed as the last date for withdrawal of nominations.

The designated venues for submission of nomination papers are as follows:

*Municipal Council Khanna – Meeting Hall, Municipal Council, Amloh Road*

*Municipal Council Samrala – SDM Court Room*

*Municipal Council Doraha – Construction Sub Division, PWD, GT Road*

*Municipal Councils Payal, Jagraon and Raikot – SDM Office Court Room*

Polling for the Municipal Council elections will be held on May 26, while the counting of votes will take place on May 29.
