On 21 February 2022, Mother Language Day was organized at Master Tara Singh Memorial College for Women, Ludhiana. An online webinar was organized by the Department of Punjabi in collaboration with the students of M.A. Punjabi. During this, Dr. Manjit Kaur head of Punjabi deptt. shared her views on the importance of mother tongue in front of the students. Mrs. Kuljeet Kaur and Mrs. Gurvinder Kaur gave a lot of information on the progress of the national mother tongue in this webinar. Students also shared their views about the contribution and importance of mother tongue for the progress of the nation, expressed the idea of learning Punjabi and being aware of Punjabi language to all. A quiz competition on Punjabi language was also organized. College Principal Dr. Kirandeep Kaur appreciated the work done by the students for the advancement of their mother tongue in todays time and called it an inspirational work.
