The thirteenth Ganesh Mahotsava celebrations continued on the 8th day at Lord Ganesha’s Temple, which houses the Asia’s tallest and majestic Idol of Lord Ganesha by Sidh Data Sewa Society(Regd.). Devotees in large number thronged to pay obeisance to Lord Ganesha . The temple and the marquees were adorned with flowers which gave a solemn manifestation.
Today’s reverence was sermonised under the supervision of Sanatam Dharam Guru Pandit Ajay Vashist Ji, Pt. Prahlad , Pt. Davinder Shastri, Pt. Vinod Sharma and Pt. Nardeshwar Pandey .
The Poojan was conducted with great devotion by President of the Sidh Data Sewa society (Regd.) Dr. Rajesh Rudhra, Smt. Usha Rudhra, Dr. Shabad Rudhra, Dr. Vijayata Rudhra, Dr. Anamika, Smt. Rashmi Kalra & Sh. Ravi Kalra, Smt. Ashok Dhand & Sh. Narinder Dhand . Dr. Alka Mittal & Dr. Anil Mittal.
Pandit Ajay Vashist sermonised the gathering about the importance of worshiping Lord Ganesha . He said that Lord Ganesha bestows fame and opulence on his devotees. He is worshipped before starting any new thing. Fortunate are those who spend their time in the worshipping Lord. Eliminating Kam, Krodh, Lobh, Ahankaar from our lives, we should only concentrate on “ Prabhu Ki Bhakti”.
Dr. Rajesh Rudhra, President of Sidh Data Sewa Society (Regd.) addressing the devotees said that Indian culture and civilization is the richest civilization in the world. The first deity traditionally worshipped before every auspicious occasion is Lord Ganpati and hailing Sanatam Dharma, he said that Sanatam Dharam is great. He also said that some retarded people call Sanatan Dharma good or bad for vote politics whereas Sanatan Dharma itself is the one that gives birth to all religions.
Bhajans were recited by Sh Tara Chand Jee, Sh. Sonu Kumar , Sh. Pardeep Chanchal, Sh.Sandeep Sabar and Sh. Jasbir Jassi.
All members of the Sidh Data Sewa Society and other devotees performed Maha Aarti and ladoos were distributed among all. The temple echoed with “Ganpati Bappa Maurya”. Langar was also arranged for the devotees.
