38th Association of Indian universities (AIU) North Zone Inter-University Youth Festival 2024-25 was hosted by Panjab University, Chandigarh under the aegis of AIU, New Delhi. Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University's contingent of 52 members participated in 20 events pertaining to Literary, Fine Arts, Music, Dance and Theatre events of this festival. 21 universities from North India participated in this festival.
After competing with over 1000 students from 21 universities, Vet Varsity students' won seven positions in different events. They secured 4th position in Skit, Mime, Collage Making and Installation whereas 5th position in On the Spot Painting, Debate and Clay Modelling.
Dr. Jatinder Paul Singh Gill, Vice Chancellor and Dr. Parkash Singh Brar, Director Students’ Welfare, Dr. Suresh Kumar Sharma, Registrar, Dr. Sanjeev Kr. Uppal, Dean, Post Graduate Studies, Dr. Anil Kumar Arora, Director Research congratulated the students.
Dr. Nidhi Sharma, Assistant Director Publications and Dr. S S Hassan were the team managers accompanying the contingent.
