National Institute Of Ayurveda, Panchkula To Organize Multiple Activities To Promote Yoga And Health

The National Institute of Ayurveda, Panchkula (under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India), under the guidance of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Sharma, is organizing a series of awareness programs on the occasion of the 11th International Day of Yoga 2025. These programs revolve around the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health” and aim to promote yoga among the masses, encourage citizens to adopt a healthy lifestyle, and support environmental conservation.
As part of this initiative, a “ *Harit Yoga* ” program was organized on 9th June 2025 at the institute campus. Shri Kuldeep Bangar, District Information and Public Relations Officer, graced the event as the chief guest. He emphasized the role of yoga in environmental conservation and health promotion and inaugurated the event by planting a tree on the campus. Dean Incharge Professor Satish Gandharva, Dr. Gaurav Kumar Garg (DMS), Prof. Prahlad Raghu, other officials, and students were also present at the event.
From *9th to 14th June 2025* , the institute is also conducting an online *Yoga Quiz Competitio* n. Interested participants can join the quiz by visiting the link https://form-timer.com/start/b6929c77 or by scanning the associated QR code. The top three winners will be awarded prizes and certificates on 21st June 2025.
Additionally, a *Walkathon* themed “Yoga for a Healthy Life: Let’s Walk Together” will be held on *15th June 2025* from *5:00 AM to 7:00 AM* at *Yavanika Park, Sector-5, Panchkula* . Citizens of all age groups are welcome to participate.
The main event for International Day of Yoga will be celebrated on 21st June 2025, from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM, in front of the Multi-Level Parking area, Sector 5-D, Mansa Devi Complex (MDC), Panchkula. Thousands of participants, along with dignitaries and trained yoga instructors, will join in for a mass yoga session.
The National Institute of Ayurveda, Panchkula appeals to all citizens to actively participate in these programs, make yoga a part of their lives, and contribute to building a healthier and more environmentally conscious India.
