46th Professor Mohan Singh Memorial International Cultural Fair Will Be Held At Dr. A.v.m Public Senior Secondary School

A seminar will be held at Punjabi Bhavan on October 20

 Professor Mohan Singh Memorial Foundation to organise a Jagdev Singh Jassowal Memorial 46th Professor Mohan Singh Memorial International Cultural Fair on 21 October at Dr. A.V.M Public Senior Secondary School near Isa Nagri Pulli in Ludhiana.   While before this there will also be a seminar on October 20 at Punjabi Bhavan.  A meeting regarding preparations for the fair was held today at Jagdev Singh Jassowal's house (Alana), Gurdev Nagar.
The meeting was under the leadership of Patron of the foundation  Pragat Singh Grewal, Prof.  Dr.  Gurbhajan Singh Gill and President Rajiv Kumar Lovely, organised by Chairman Gurnam Singh Dhaliwal, Secretary General Dr.  Nirmal Jora and the chairman of the Reception committee Amarinder Singh Jassowal. Meeting began with a two-minute silence paying tribute to the departed great personalities.
Giving information regarding the preparations of the fair, Foundation President Rajiv Kumar Lovely, Secretary General Dr.  Nirmal Jora, Chairman Gurnam Singh Dhaliwal and Amarinder Singh Jassowal said that on October 21 a Punjabi cultural fair will be organised at Dr AVM Public Senior Secondary School. The fair will start at around 10.30 am and will continue till late evening.  During this, there will be an open arena for folk singing, in which prominent folk artists of Punjab will perform and cultural performances will also be given by school children.  During the meeting, it was unanimously decided that eminent personalities from various professions will be honored during the fair and for the selection of which personalities a three-member committee has been formed. This committee will select the honorees with the advice of other peers.  Apart from this, it was also unanimously decided to establish a women's wing of the foundation.
Similarly, a seminar on Kavi Darbar and classical singing will be organized at Punjabi Bhavan in collaboration with Punjabi Sahitya Academy on Sunday, October 20.
During the meeting, besides others, Maninder Singh Thind, Rajinder Singh Finetone, Harnek Singh Grewal Raikot, Mani Grewal, Sandeep Singh Rupalo, Amarjit Singh Sherpuri, Prateek Inder Singh Grewal, Balwinder Singh Grewal, Karamjit Singh Grewal, Harbrinder Pal Singh Jasowal, Dilbag Singh Khataray Kalan, Atma Budhewalia, Gaurav Mahendru, Tanishk Kannojia, Balwinder Singh Goldi were also present.
