Earth Day was celebrated at Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town on 21st April 2023. As per CBSE guidelines via Circular Acad-36/2023 under the idea of LIFE, various activities were organized wherein students of Primary wing delivered a speech on significance of Earth Day and told amazing facts about Earth during morning assembly. Many other class activities were also conducted in which students of class V prepared head gears using chart paper and wore them on their heads throughout the day to create awareness. Students of Middle & Senior wing drafted slogans to save the flora & fauna of our planet. They wrote striking slogans touching on issues of environmental concern. The Senior students also prepared a Comic Strip highlighting the theme How to conserve Mother Earth. It was a great success.
