Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School Observes World Paper Bag Day

Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School celebrated World Paper Bag Day with great enthusiasm and environmental awareness by organizing a Paper Bag Making Activity for the students of Grades I and II. The activity aimed to create awareness about environmental conservation and encourage the use of eco-friendly alternatives to plastic bags.
The young learners enthusiastically showcased their creativity by designing attractive paper bags using newspapers and craft materials. Through this engaging hands-on activity, students learned the importance of reducing plastic pollution, reusing resources and adopting sustainable habits in their daily lives.
A Paper Reading Activity was also organized for the students of Classes IX to XII. The students presented and discussed papers on different topics related to the theme of environmental conservation and sustainable development.
On this occasion, Dr. Rajesh Rudhra, the Chairman of Chain of Green Land Schools, shared an inspiring message, saying, “The future of our planet rests in the hands of today’s young minds. Every thoughtful action, however small, has the power to bring about meaningful change. World Paper Bag Day reminds us that by choosing sustainable alternatives and caring for our environment, we can collectively build a greener, healthier and more sustainable tomorrow.”
Appreciating the efforts and enthusiastic participation of the students, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher, Principal, remarked, “Such activities provide valuable opportunities to nurture creativity, environmental awareness and social responsibility among children. Through experiential learning, our students have realized that even small steps can make a significant difference in protecting our planet. "
