Green Land Senior Secondary Public School organized two enriching and vibrant competitions to promote creativity, expression and moral values among students.
A Colouring Competition was held for students of Pre-Nursery to UKG, where the little ones filled the campus with a splash of colours and creativity. The young artists showcased their imagination through vivid drawings and beautiful use of colours, reflecting their innocent and vibrant outlook.
Simultaneously, an English Poetry Recitation Competition was conducted for students of Classes VI to VIII, with themes including Honesty, Discipline, Dreams, Friendship and more. The participants recited self-composed and selected poems with great confidence, expression and clarity, leaving the audience deeply impressed by their eloquence and thoughtfulness. The themes were chosen to instill core values and inspire reflective thinking among the students.
The Chairman of the Chain of Green Land Schools, Dr. Rajesh Rudhra emphasized the importance of such events in holistic education. He remarked that competitions like these help our students become more expressive, thoughtful and confident. While colouring helps our little ones develop creativity and focus, poetry builds articulation and imagination.
The Principal of the school, Ms. Baldeep Pandher, appreciated the enthusiastic participation and said, “Such competitions are not just about performance, but about nurturing creativity, developing moral character and building confidence among our students. We believe in giving every child the platform to express and grow into a responsible and expressive individual.”
