UpkarSingh Ahuja, President, CICU while sharing his views on the Union Budget 2023-24 presented by Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman appreciated the following points of the Union budget:

3400 Legal Systems to be removed
For MSME 1% Interest subvention scheme
9000 Cr. for MSME Credit Guarantee Scheme will help MSMEs to get loans.
10,000 Cr per year for urban infra development fund
50-year interest-free loan to State Government extended for one more year
Income tax rebate increased to Rs. 7 Lakh from 5 Lakh in the new tax regime
30 skill India international center to be set up in all states
EV Battery custom duty reduced.
66% increase in PM Awas Yojna
Agritech Startups accelerator funds have been granted.
Govt. has also initiated computerization for 63,000 primary agricultural credit societies with an investment of Rs. 2,516 cr.
Blender CNG GST exempted.
