Why Are Opposition Parties Showing So Much Sympathy for a Drug Mafia, Questions Arora
Aman Arora’s Jibe – Congress, Akali Dal, and BJP Unite Over Security Withdrawal, But When Will They Stand Together for Punjabis’ Rights?
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab President Aman Arora has hit out at the opposition parties over the security issue of Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia and questioned why opposition parties are showing so much sympathy for a drug mafia.
Aman Arora asserted that the Aam Aadmi Party has always insisted that all traditional parties in Punjab are equally complicit in the drug trade, and today, this stands proven.
Posing a question to all three parties, Aman Arora asked why Congress, Akali Dal, and BJP have come together over the withdrawal of security for a drug mafia, but they never unite for the rights of Punjabis. This clearly shows that these parties do not want to see drugs eradicated from Punjab.
He said that a massive war against drugs is currently underway in Punjab. Drug traffickers are being arrested across the state, yet these parties are more concerned for a person responsible for spreading drugs and ruining the lives of young people.
He further stated that a drug mafia was granted Prime Minister-level security despite having no genuine need for such protection. He added that no matter how hard the opposition parties try, AAP’s fight against drugs will continue. No individual linked to drugs will be spared, no matter how powerful they are.
